Mama's Little Creations

 This is a cross stitch kit I'm working on, and boy is it slow going so far! This is literally just over half of a tiny bottom portion. I'm two colors in, and doing cross stitch with long nails is more difficult than I anticipated! I hope y'all like it, and if you've got any craft questions let me know! 

 So, I'm constantly playing with and adjusting recipes to come up with something new and fun. Coming soon are two recipes that some would say are better for fall, but I say are good for any time! I'm still getting my ratios and everything right, at the moment I think my wet to dry ratio is off, the dough is a sticky mess! If you're a salted caramel lover, these recipes will be perfect for you!  Side note I just put on new press-on nails (I love them lol) and they're longer than I anticipated so typing is a learning curve! I keep hitting random keys instead of the one I want lol. I'm glad I'm typing on my husband's PC instead of my laptop, since he has a mechanical keyboard with raised keys.  So, small blurb about why I'm obsessed with this! My Sister-in-law, and best friend, introduced me to iced chai from Starbucks, and it was good, sure, but this past month, at a Ren Faire, we had the absolute best chai ever! I wanted to try to recreate it! This recipe makes two quarts to take into account the inevitable chai addiction that will follow, lol! But, if you don't want to make that much, you can halve or even quarter it! Ingredients:  Chai concentrate: 8 Cups water  8 bags regular chai (I use Twinning's)  8 bags vanilla chai (I use Bigelow)  1 cup brown sugar (or more if you need it)  Brown sugar syrup:  2 cups water 2 cups brown sugar Directions:  Bring water to a simmer on the stove top, then remove from heat. Add all tea bags and allow to steep for 5-7 minutes off the heat.  Remove tea bags and return the pot to the burner on medium heat, add your brown sugar (1 cup or to taste) and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved....

I baked for the first time with my dad when I was five, for the first time with him simply in the room at 8, completely by myself at 10, and developed my first recipe at 14.  I started my crafting obsession at 12, learning to crochet from a teacher in my middle school.
